Can you introduce yourself and tell us who you are?

My name is Maud, I’m 33 and a happy mummy of two little boys! In addition to my role as a mum, I’m also a blogger. I post and chat with other mums on my blog which is called I have ups and downs just like you, a job that’s not always great but a fantastic man in my life, high points, low points, and plenty of product reviews! The aim is to share all that and create a community with a smile!

How many children do you have?

I’m just an ordinary mum to a little boy who’s a bundle of energy, and his baby brother who’s just recently arrived.

How old are they?

My two boys are four and a half and two months.

Furnishing the nursery with confidence

How long have you been using Galipette furniture?

I’ve used Galipette furniture since my second baby was born.

What type of Galipette furniture do you use (bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, changing unit etc)?

I’ve got three pieces of Galipette furniture: a chest of drawers, a cot bed and a wardrobe.

What does the Galipette brand mean to you?

First and foremost, Galipette is a brand I know I can trust. It’s a French brand that produces quality furniture.

What do you like about the design of Galipette furniture?

The design of Galipette furniture has a youthful feel as well as being really practical!

Which collection appeals to you the most?

I particularly like the clean lines of the Zoé collection from Galipette. In addition, I think that white and grey are really nice colours for a nursery.

Cot bed: a must-have for any baby’s nursery!

In your opinion, which are the most important pieces of furniture for a mum-to-be setting up her baby’s nursery? What advice would you give her for choosing the right furniture?

First of all, I would definitely recommend going for a cot bed. The main advantage of this type of bed is that it saves a lot of space. It’s super practical!

Can you tell us about a particular piece of Galipette furniture that helps you bond with your child?

As I said, the convertible bed we bought for our new baby is really practical, especially for keeping an eye on him. I love watching him interacting with his mobile. I like to watch him gurgling and smiling as I put away his clean clothes.

Do you have a ‘happy’ story to tell relating to Galipette furniture?

At the moment my baby boy’s Galipette convertible bed is his favourite place to play, as we haven’t yet set up the rest of the room. So I’m really enjoying watching him have fun in his cot with his mobile and soft toys. It’s so so sweet!

Galipette: French-made furniture for baby’s nursery

In your opinion, what are the advantages of Galipette furniture?

In my opinion, Galipette furniture has three main advantages. Firstly, it’s made in France. Secondly, it’s designed to be practical. And finally, Galipette furniture has a modern feel so it looks really contemporary in children’s bedrooms.

Is the fact that Galipette furniture is made in France important to you?

Yes, it’s particularly important to me! The fact that Galipette furniture is made in France is good for the French economy, and also provides a hallmark of quality. In addition, France has really strict standards so I know that these are applied and I can use Galipette furniture with complete peace of mind.

If you had to recommend a piece of Galipette furniture to a mum, what would you say?

If a mum asked me to help her choose a piece of furniture, I’d recommend the convertible bed from the Zoé collection! Apart from the fact that it looks great (there’s no denying that it’s super stylish), it has a really practical side. I’d definitely recommend it!
