The blogger Croque Madame gives us her take on children’s furniture

Stéphanie is a 41-year-old mum and blogger living in the south of France. She shares her everyday life and her passion for photography, as well as giving advice under the Croque Madame pseudonym. Her key aim is to enjoy the simple things in life that make us happy every day! This is the kind of philosophy that we share with our little ones every day. A simple smile from your little cherub is sometimes all it needs to get your day on the right track. And hearing them laugh is just a simple little thing that’s truly priceless. Otherwise known as Zaza of Mars, Stéphanie is a proud mummy to four boys aged ten, six, three and nine months. Today, she tells us about her experiences with Galipette furniture.

The Galipette convertible bed for baby’s nursery

Which are the most important pieces of furniture for a mum-to-be setting up her baby’s nursery?

I don’t think you need much furniture in a baby’s nursery, although some items are essential. If I had to provide advice on furnishing a baby’s nursery, the first item I would recommend would be a cot, followed by a chest of drawers or wardrobe and finally a changing table.

What does the Croque Madame blogger find inspiring about Galipette furniture?

For me, the Galipette brand is all about class, style, durability and practicality, as well as being environmentally friendly. These are the words that spring to mind whenever I look at my son’s cot.

How long have you been using Galipette furniture?

We assembled our first piece of Galipette furniture a few weeks ago. We are using a convertible bed for our youngest.

What do you like about the design of Galipette furniture?

I find the design understated yet smart. I was instantly attracted to the practical aspect of Galipette furniture, as well as its universal colours and durability. It seems to stand up to anything!

Which collection appeals to you the most?

It would have to be the Zoé collection. I love its simple look. What I particularly like is the fact that the range is completely timeless and understated, and also that it grows with my child. This said, it’s really hard to choose between the various collections. There’s something for everyone!

Are there any particularly special times that you share with your child based around your Galipette furniture?

I’ve got a convertible bed from the Zoé range. It means that as well as putting my baby in it to sleep, I can also change him using the built-in changing table. I sometimes also massage my baby on the changer. I really enjoy bonding with my little one on a daily basis.

Sans titre-3

Galipette furniture: durable and made in France

In your opinion, what are the advantages of Galipette furniture?

Galipette furniture stands out from the rest as it is durable, comprehensive, environmentally friendly and made in France.

Is the fact that Galipette furniture is made in France important to you?

Yes, it’s really important to me! The fact that it’s manufactured in France is a hallmark of quality as far as I’m concerned. It also reduces the carbon footprint.

Do you have a ‘happy’ story to tell relating to Galipette furniture?

Not yet, but I’m sure there will be at some point! My baby is already trying to pull himself up on the railings on his cot, so I’m sure there’ll soon be fun and games on the horizon!

If you had to recommend a piece of Galipette furniture to a mum, what would you say?

I would definitely recommend the Zoé cot. As I said before, I absolutely love it! It’s a multi-purpose, all-in-one design. The Zoé unit is not just a cot, it’s also a changing table and a small chest. Perfect for small bedrooms and really practical!
